I know this isn’t generally my theme lately of old hollywood glamor but Kate in this movie was just so stunning I have to share it here.

Ultimate camp.

I am a HUGE Danny Kaye fan.  Also, this is one of my all-time favorite scenes from any movie.  I love that Bing is genuinely laughing by the end of it.  I don’t know how you could do a scene with Danny Kaye and not laugh hysterically though it.

What she said. heyy, sister.

one of my fave movies EVER

The Gay Divorcee, 1934
I actually haven’t seen many Ginger Rogers & Fred Astaire movies - this one was the first and it wooed me with Fred’s cheeky charm and the way he adorably mimics Ginger when she calls for the porter.
